A Girls Weekend Away – for Alice

From Madam Alice:

Occasionally all of the women in my family meet up for a weekend, we’ve done it for the last 10 years or so and it has always been a great break and an opportunity to catch up with my sister and my Mum.  Over the last couple of years we have been joined by my 2 nieces and it has almost breathed new life into our weekends away.

This isn’t a FLR get together, I’m sure my Mother and Sister would have kittens if they knew what my home life was in reality –  but I suspect that my oldest niece is moving her life towards a FLR type of relationship with her current boyfriend.  No, the weekend is there to catch up with things, drink wine, dance, drink wine, get pampered and primped, drink wine etc etc..you probably get the jist.

So my bag will be packed by billie on Thursday night and I’ll leave for work on Friday morning and head to the selected hotel on Friday afternoon and have an enjoyable weekend and come home on Sunday Evening.

So John will be left at a loose end this weekend.  frequently he would take this opportunity to go and visit his Kids or catch up with friends but that isn’t the case this weekend, so the arrangements are that billie will look after John in my absence.

Having discussed this with John, and I don’t want him home alone when he can do his usual weekend visit to the house and billie can make sure that he has a relaxing weekend.  I’ve left the details to John but he has told me that he wants billie to come to his office at 9am sharp on Friday so that he can give him some instructions for the weekend and also what meals he would like prepared for him over the weekend.

I’m sure the boys will have a great weekend spending some quality time together……..
