Chastity review and follow up.

 A few weeks ago Poppet gave a really good update on her chastity that she has been wearing for a few months now and I thought that doing the same since I had changed over to the Cobra Chastity a few months before.

To that End I have shamelessly ripped off Poppet’s idea.  I don’t think she’ll mind (She’ll use it as an excuse to tell me off though!).

So having been progressively wearing chastity since 2005, starting with a CB2000 occasionally to spending the bulk of 2 years completely in chastity, I thought that I was fairly experienced with chastity cages.  Oh how wrong can I be!

My 2 years in full time chastity had been mainly using Franckencage and my smaller all metal cage.  Last year we discussed the plan of going down a cage size.  Madam wanted me to try a smaller Resin/ 3D printed cage, while Sir’s preference was to go for a smaller all metal cage.  My preference was more pragmatic – a 50mm back ring that was curved and an internal lock system – I didn’t want to go back to having a padlock clacking against the cage every time I moved.

The compromise was that we would get one of each and then see how we got on.  The metal cage arrived first and I spent a few days getting used to it and found that with it’s weight, it pulled away from my body.  particularly if I was being teased or used and I started to get hard.  My confined erection would swell in the cage but also push it forward.  Not ideal, so the view was that a chastity support trap would be needed to use these in the future and that the resin cage would probably be better for regular wear.

So the cage arrived and we found that the cage was only slightly smaller (by about 5mm) than Franken Cage in length.  it was definitely thinner which was fine to accommodate my reduced girth.  So we moved over to wearing this cage and I found that it was particularly comfortable to wear during the day.  There was some pinching of the ring during the day, but that was mainly due to sitting down for too long.  I would use that as my queue to get up and have a break from the computer screen

The cage was comfortable to wear, far more comfortable that my previous metal cage, the resin made it very light and as I often wear slightly larger trousers, there were times that I forgot that I was wearing it.  I occasionally had to check with a discrete pocket fumble would feel for the cage.  

However there are a couple of issues.  The size of this cage is too long, when I become completely flaccid my clit will retract back.  This creates a problem that when I go for a pee my end of my foreskin could be pointing anywhere so great care is needed to make sure that I don’t end up weeing on my self, my knickers, the floor, my trousers etc  I ended up carrying a small metal urethral tube to make sure that I could reach into the cage and manipulate my foreskin towards the bottom hole of the cage.  

There is also something that found tricky was that the plastic/ resin of the cage is wider compared to the thinner bars that make up the metal cages, this has the problem that it is slightly more difficult to clean when wearing.  with the metal cage I could normally get a way with a once a week deep clean and the rest of the time a good lathering of Shower gel and a “good blast” with the shower head.  This wasn’t quite the case so a small tooth brush (soft brisles) was added to my shower routine.  

I also found that I needed to remove the cage 2 -3 times a week to give it a good deep clean.

As a Christmas present I received a smaller sized Cobra chastity cage – The nub.  This one was significantly shorter than the Small and was definitely the right size.  Very secure and combined with the Chastity support strap very comfortable for long term wear.

Now while the cage was extremely comfortable I was now having more pinching of the skin at the back of my balls.  The ring was the biggest that I could get, it was shaped and in theory it should be just fine.  The addition of lotions, gels, Vaseline etc did not help either.  The pinching became really annoying as it became a regular feature that would wake me in the middle of the night – several times.

The other issue that started to bother me was I was having a bit of a problem when peeing.  

Let me explain.  I would go for a wee as normal, sit down have my wee and then just wait for a few more moments sand give things a good shake to release any further pee that may well be trapped in my clit and foreskin.  Give myself a good wipe and occasionally take a piece of toilet paper and fold it into a quarter and place in my knickers against the head of the cage to absorb any final droplets that my just follow on.  Job done!  Unfortunately not quite….. 

what would happen either as I started to move or even a few minutes later I would get a second release of wee.  Too much to be absorbed by my small pad of toilet paper and I would have to scuttle back to the toilet.  I started to call this my “retarded pee”, it was almost like my compressed clit and the compression back into my body was causing the “pipes” to be compressed or restricted and to hold back some of the wee.

In the early days of wearing this smaller cage there was a couple of accidents and a bit of a wet patch appeared on my trousers.  Luckily on the most public occasion I had a spare pair of trousers in my travel bag in the car and I was able to go grab them and get changed.

You would thing with all of these problems I would have stopped wearing the cage?  The cage was the most comfortable that I’d had for long term wear and the pinching issue I did some research and chatted with others such a Poppet and kerri about their view on the problem.  A visit to the chastity forums revealed that this was not an uncommon problem and everyone agreed that I should look to get a larger base ring.  At this point I found out that the Cobra Chastity actually has 8 different ring sizes.  It appeared that I needed to get hold of a 54mm base ring.

This wasn’t too easy.  I contacted the manufacturer in the US and they came back that yes they could sell me one and ship to the UK but they wanted to know where I had bought my cages and that they wanted photos of it as it was a copy as they and their one official seller had not sold it to me or Madam originally.  While the correspondence was friendly it was clear that they were not happy that my cage was a copy – both of my Cobra Chastity cages were from Amazon – I purchased the small via Amazon UK and Madam ordered the nub via Amazon Germany.  Also the cost of the base ring with international Shipping from the US was going to be significant.  I was going to place an order when I was contacted by a Chastity forum user from Europe that I regularly chat with who pointed out that there was a UK seller of chastity base rings that might be worth contacting.  So a quick look at the suggested seller’s site on Etsy and there was what I needed a 55mm curved back ring.  I’ve put the link to Mr Keyholders site on Etsy below and also to the base ring that I ordered:
